SUCTION DRAINING ENGINE
Following a recent modification to petrol and diesel engines, it is now possible to carry out an oil change by suction (without a nozzle) .
The oil draining occurs via the oil dipstick tube, which reaches to the bottom of the oil sump .
The end of the dipstick tube is widened to allow connection of the suction draining equipment (2 diameters: 14 and 16 mm according to engine) .
WARNING : it is not possible to carry out this type of draining on engines which are not designed for it; in some cases, because of the shape of the bottom of the sump, the amount of oil remaining is too great (approx. 1 litre) .
