REMOVAL - REFITTING AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR

1 - REMOVAL

Drain the refrigerant circuit .

Remove :

• the protective shield under the engine

DW10TD ENGINE

REMOVE THE ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT .

DW10TD ENGINE

Remove the nuts (1) .

ALL MODELS

Remove the bolt (1) .

Disconnect the compressor inlet (2) and outlet (3) unions .

IMPERATIVE : quickly seal the compressor inlets and outlets and the pipes .

Remove the 2 bolts (4) .

Disconnect the compressor electrical supply .

ALL MODELS

Remove :

• the 2 bolts (5)
• (6) compressor

2 - REFITTING

DW10TD ENGINE

ALL MODELS

Check that the two split spacers (7) are present .

WARNING : the anti-rotation nut (8) secures the compressor at its upper rear end .

DW10TD ENGINE

Check the presence of the two spacers (9) .

WARNING : the anti-rotation nuts (8) secure the compressor (at the rear) .

ALL MODELS

Refit the compressor in the order of assembly shown above .

Firstly tighten the bolts on the crankshaft pulley side to 4.2 da.Nm then the bolts on the oil filter side to 3.9 da.Nm .

Connect the compressor electrical supply .

IMPERATIVE : reconnect all the connectors fitted with new seals, lubricated with compressor oil .

Tighten the bolt (1) to 4 da.Nm .

DW10TD ENGINE

Tighten the nuts (1) to 2.5 da.Nm .

DW10TD ENGINE

FIT THE ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT .

Refit the protective shield under the power train .

ALL MODELS

Charge the refrigerant circuit .
