REMOVAL - REFITTING COOLANT PUMP

1 - REMOVAL

drain the cooling system .

remove the timing belt .

Remove :

• the securing bolts (1) on the coolant pump
• the coolant pump

Retrieve the coolant pump seal .

2 - REFITTING

Always replace the coolant pump seal .

WARNING : clean the joint faces with an approved descaling product ; the joint faces must not have any trace of knocks or scores .

Fit the pump using a new seal .

Tighten all the fixings by hand .

Tighten the securing bolts (1) to 1 dan.m .

refit the timing belt .

fill and bleed the cooling system .
