The BE4/5 gearbox is a modification of the BE3/5 gearbox .

The BE4/5 gearbox differs from the last BE3/5 versions in :

the modification of the clutch housing due to the inclination of the DW8 engine
the replacement of the inlet shaft castle nut with a hexagonal nut (1)
the modification to the lubrication of the 5th gear synchroniser and its hub (2)+(3)
the modification to the lubrication of the 3rd/4th gear synchroniser and its hub (4)+(5)
an inlet shaft (6), 8 mm longer
the modification to the connections of the reversing light
