REMOVAL - REFITTING RELEASE BEARING GUIDE

1 - PRELIMINARY OPERATION

stripping the gearbox .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove the clutch fork (1) .

Remove :

• the assembly of spring (3) and pin (4)
• the control lever (2)

Remove :

• the bearing guide tube (5)
• the paper seal (6) (if fitted)
• the input shaft adjustment shim (7)
• the outer race (8) of the input shaft bearing

3 - REFITTING

Always replace the bearing guide tube .

fit a new seal to the bearing guide tube using the fitting drift [23] .

Fit :

• the outer race (8) of the input shaft bearing
• an adjusting shim (7) with a thickness 0,20 mm less than that of the original shim
• the bearing guide tube (5)
• tighten the bolts to 1.25 ± 0.25 daN.m

Refit the clutch fork .

Observe the cleaning and refitting conditions .

Checking-adjustment of the input shaft bearings .

Refitting the input and output shafts .

Refitting the gearbox cover .

Reassembling the gearbox .
