DISMANTLING / ASSEMBLY GEARBOX

1 - DISMANTLING

Remove :

• the reverse lamp switch (1)

Remove :

• (2) breather
• (3) gearbox drain plug
• (4) filling and level plug
• (5) final drive output seals
• (6) the mounting and the speedometer take-off gear

Remove the stop (7) and fork (8) assembly .

2 - ASSEMBLY

FIT THE NEW LIP SEAL (5) USING THE TOOL [28] .

FIT THE NEW LIP SEAL (5) USING THE TOOL [29] .

Fit :

• the mounting and the speedometer take-off gear (6)
• filling and level plug (4)
• gearbox drain plug (3) (3.5 ± 0.8 da.Nm)
• breather (2) (1.7 ± 0.3 da.Nm)
• the reverse lamp switch (2.5 ± 0.5 da.Nm)

NOTE : the reverse gear switch with connectors SICMA 2 does not possess a seal .

Refit the clutch stop (7) - (8) .
