REMOVAL - REFITTING STUB AXLE THRUST PLATE AND REAR BEARING HUB ASSEMBLY

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Guide sleeve (-).0617-J .

[2] Bush nut (-).0617-K .

[3] Locking tool (-).0526-J .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a lift .

Slacken the wheel bolts .

Lift and support the vehicle with the rear wheels suspended .

Remove the wheel .

Remove :

• the brake caliper and suspend it
• the cap (2)
• the plate (3)
• the wheel sensor

Remove :

• the bolts (4)
• the stub axle thrust plate fitted with the bearing hub

3 - REFITTING

Coat the bolts (4) with FREIN FILET .

Secure the stub axle thrust plate on the arm .

REFIT THE WHEEL HUB .

Fit :

• the wheel sensor
• the brake disc (3)
• the brake caliper (1)
• the wheel

3 - 1 - TIGHTENING TORQUES

Stub axle thrust plate (4) mounting bolt ; 6.3 da.Nm .

Disc mounting bolt (3) ; 1 da.Nm .

Sensor mounting bolt ; 0.8 da.Nm .

Hub nut ; 21 da.Nm .

Caliper mounting bolt ; 5.3 da.Nm .

Wheel bolts ; 9 da.Nm .
