REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR HUB

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Guide sleeve (-).0617-J .

[2] Bush nut (-).0617-K .

[3] Thrust button(-).0621-E .

[4] Extractor FACOM U20 B .

[5] Extractor FACOM U35 P .

[6] Locking tool (-).0526-J .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a lift with rear wheels suspended .

Remove :

• the wheel
• the brake pads
• the brake disc
• the protective cap
• the hub nut

Remove the hub-bearing assembly, using :

• the thrust button [3]
• the tool [4]

Remove the bearing cage (2) using :

• remove the hub-bearing assembly, using [3]
• the tool [5]

3 - REFITTING

WARNING : the hub-bearing assembly cannot be separated, it must therefore always be replaced after removal .

Clean the stub axle before refitting .

Tighten the sleeve [1] to the stub axle .

Fit a new hub bearing (3) to the guide sleeve [1] .

Tighten the ring [2] until the bearing hub (3) is at the end .

Remove the tools .

Replace a nut with a new flange lubricated surface and threads) .

Tighten the nut to 21 dan.m and lock the nut using the tool [6] .

Fit :

• a new cap
• the brake disc
• the brake pads
• the wheel

Tightening torques :

• wheel bolts : 9 da.Nm
• hub nut : 21 da.Nm
• disc fixing bolt : 1 da.Nm
