REMOVAL - REFITTING BONNET OPENING CABLE

1 - REMOVAL

remove the front bumper .

Unclip the cable (1) from the bonnet striker ; At (A) .

Unclip the cable (1) ; At (B) .

Unclip the cable (1) ; At (C) - (D) .

Remove :

• the clips
• the grommet (2)

Using a flat screwdriver, push the grommet (E) at inwards, in order not to dislodge the panel flange .

Remove ; the Built-in Systems Interface .

Remove the bolt (3) .

Detach the bonnet opening control (4) .

Detach the grommet (5) .

Pass the cable (1) inside the vehicle, pulling on it .

Remove the control (4) and the cable (1) downwards, moving aside the bracket from the built-in systems interface (6) .

2 - REFITTING

Move aside the bracket (6) from the built-in systems interface .

Position :

• the cable (1)
• the control (4)

Refit the bolt (3) .

IMPERATIVE : pull on the grommet at (E) in order to attach it to the panel flange .

Fit ; the Built-in Systems Interface .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Test operation .
