REMOVAL - REFITTING FUEL TANK

1 - TOOLS REQUIRED

TU3JP ENGINE TU5JP4 ENGINE EW10J4 ENGINE EW6J4 ENGINE

[1] Pipe with adapter for valve SHRADER (-).0141-T1 .

ALL MODELS

2 - REMOVAL

drain the tank .

Lower the fuel pressure by connecting the end of the tool [1] to the valve SHRADER; catch the fuel in a receptacle .

ALL MODELS

Fold the cushion of the rear bench seat .

WARNING : wait 30 seconds after switching off the engine before disconnecting the fuel pipes .

Remove the pump gauge module recess cover (1) .

Disconnect the click-ons (2) .

Disconnect the connector (3) .

{{N13115}} déposer le cache de puits de jauge (1) .

Disconnect the click-on (2) .

Disconnect the connector (3) .

ALL MODELS

Remove : The right hand rear wheel .

The mud shield .

Remove :

• the exhaust rear silencer (4)
• the collar (on the manifold side)
• the flexible connections
• the exhaust pipe
• the heat shields (5) (according to specification)
• the 2 plastic screens
• the rear suspension springs

DW10ATED ENGINE PARTICLE FILTER

Disconnect the connector (6) .

Release the electrical harness (7) .

ALL MODELS

Tilt the rear axle .

Remove the bolts (8) .

Lower the fuel tank using a pit jack guiding the one-piece pipes assembly to prevent stresses on the surrounding components .

Remove the tank .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
