REMOVAL - REFITTING DOOR LOCK

1 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : door window in upper position .

REMOVE THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Gradually detach the sealing element at the rear and at the top .

Remove the interior handle (1) by pulling the handle towards the hinges .

Unclip the connecting rod (2) from the interior handle .

The 2 window groove fixings (3) .

The glass groove through the opening (A) .

Unclip :

• the connecting rod (4) on the exterior handle
• the connecting rod (5) on the front door lock

Release the control (6) by pulling it towards (B), then towards (C) .

Remove :

• the lock trim
• the door handle (7)

Drill out the rivets (8) .

Remove the lock bracket .

Using a screwdriver, press at (D) and pull the lock towards (E), to unclip it from its bracket .

2 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : in the event of tears, fit new sealing items which must be fitted without folds or tearing ; absolute cleanness of the contact face on the vehicle is necessary ; pass a small roller over the pre-bonded sections of the sheet ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Check the operation .

REFIT THE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
