REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT DOOR GLASS

1 - REMOVAL

Open the door .

Lower the glass fully .

Remove :

• the external weatherstrip on the window
• the interior wipe seal

Raise the window one third of its travel .

REMOVE THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Detach the sealing sheet at the bottom .

Remove the 2 mountings (1) .

Detach the glass (2) from the electric window mechanism and pull it upwards from the exterior side of the door .

2 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears ; absolute cleanness of the contact face on the vehicle is necessary ; pass a small roller over the pre-bonded sections of the sheet ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

refit the door trim panel .
