REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR DOOR WINDOW

1 - REMOVAL

Lower the window .

Remove :

• the window channel
• the interior wipe seal
• REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

Detach the seal at the top .

Remove the interior opening control (1) pulling it towards (A) .

Unclip the rod (2) .

Remove the anti-picking protector (3) .

Reconnect the electric window control .

Raise the window until the window mounting bolt appears in the opening (B) .

Remove :

• the window groove fixings (4)
• the window groove
• the window fixings (5)

Retain the window in the highest position using adhesive tape .

Lower the mechanism to the lowest position .

Lower the glass fully .

Place adhesive tape at (C) .

Begin removal of the window from the outside of the door, at (D) .

Pull the window upwards gently .

Remove the glass .

2 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears ; the bearing surface on the interior panel needs to absolutely clean ; run a wheel over the parts of the flange to be bonded ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

REFIT THE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Check the operation .
