REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT SEAT BACK COVER

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE FRONT SEAT .

Remove :

• the head restraint (1)
• the head restraint guides trims (2)

Detach the retaining straps (3) .

{{N12591}} déchausser la coiffe de dossier en partie supérieure (A) et en parties latérales (B) .

{{N12592}} déchausser le vide-poches de dossier de siège (4) en partie supérieure (C) .

Remove the front seat back storage compartment (4) pulling it towards(D) .

Unclip the seat air bag trim (5) ; {{N12593}} à l'aide d'une spatule plastique (according to specification) .

Remove the seat air bag trim .

3 DOOR SALOON

Drill out the rivets (6) using a 0.7 mm drill bit .

Remove the bsi(7) .

Remove the rivet bodies remaining in the seat frame .

Vacuum up the debris .

5 DOOR SALOON

Unclip :

• the armrest (8) pressing at (E) and pulling towards (F)
• the mechanism (9) pulling it towards (F)

ALL MODELS

Disconnect the heating pad connector (according to specification) .

Detach and remove the cover/padding assembly pulling it forwards .

2 - REFITTING

5 DOOR SALOON

Right seat with armrest .

From the interior of the cover, cut the foam on the left-hand side, symmetrically on the right-hand side, to a depth of 15 mm .

IMPERATIVE : when refitting the front seat back cover: ensure that the cover retaining plastic slides are in fact in the plastic grooves on each side of the cover .

Refit the cover on the seat frame .

From the exterior of the cover, make the cut for the mechanism to pass through (7) .

{{N12594}} en cas de remplacement de la coiffe de dossier de siège conducteur avec accoudoir, n'effectuer que la découpe à l'extérieur de la coiffe .

ALL MODELS

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Replace the seat air bag trim with a new one .

Check the electrical operation .
