LIFTING
1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

2 - POSITIONING CHASSIS STANDS
2 - 1 - AT THE FRONT
Take the load on the sill with the crossmember as close as possible to the locating plate .
Position the axle stand in the location provided for lifting the vehicle using the jack .
NOTE : to have 2 wheels suspended, repeat the operation on the other side .
2 - 2 - AT THE REAR
Take the load on the sill with the crossmember as close as possible to the locating plate .
Position the axle stand in the location provided for lifting the vehicle using the jack .
NOTE : to have 2 wheels suspended, repeat the operation on the other side .
3 - RAISING FROM ONE SIDE
Position the axle stand in the location provided for lifting the vehicle using the jack .
NOTE : to have 4 wheels suspended, repeat the operation on the other side .
4 - LIFTING ON A 2 POST LIFT
WARNING : removal of units (power unit, rear suspension ...) can cause movement of the centre of gravity : use a single or two post lift fitted with clamps to hold the body to the lift arms .
4 - 1 - WITHOUT BODY SILL TONGS
Place the lift pads on each locating plate (Take care not to damage the plastic screens) .
WARNING : to avoid any risk of the vehicle tilting, removal of mechanical units is prohibited .
4 - 2 - WITH BODY SILL TONGS
WARNING : these clamps are only fitted to lifts of FOG make .
Use only a safety assembly composed of 4 support pads (with pins) .
This assembly replaces the existing pads .
Pull the safety tabs on the outside of the supports before positioning the support pads .
Place the 4 pads under the sill flanges at the locations marked, with the support (B) as close to the flange as possible .
Bring the pads into contact under the take-off points .
Push the 4 safety tabs (A) into the slots provided for the jack .
The vehicle may be lifted .
To release the vehicle, carry out the operation in reverse .
