PREPARATION NEW VEHICLE
1 - CHECK STARTER BATTERY
The check can only be undertaken after 1 hours at rest .
The battery check is carried out using the load tester TB12 and the interface ecu IB12 .
Connect the interface ecu to the TB12 .
Connect the assembly IB12 - TB12 to the central socket (16-way) .

2 - FUSE BOX
2 - 1 - IN PARC (FACTORY) CONFIGURATION
The shunt is in position F19A .
A green standard fuse 30A is on the bracket F19/F19A .
2 - 2 - IN CUSTOMER CONFIGURATION
The shunt is on the bracket F19/F19A .
A green standard fuse 30A is in position F19 .
3 - LOCATION OF MANUFACTURER'S PLATES AND LABELS
VIN on fascia, visible from the outside through the windscreen .
Tyre pressures - Build code .
Air bags graphics .
VIN body stamp .
Vehicle manufacturer's plate .
Lubricant recommendation located at the top of the radiator grille .
Fuel recommendation located on the fuel filler flap .
4 - INTERNAL PREPARATION
4 - 1 - ELECTRIC WINDOW
NOTE : following every battery disconnection, the electric windows function must be re-initialised .
Initialise the electric window function :
NOTE : this operation is to be carried out for all vehicles fitted with one-touch electric windows .
4 - 2 - AUTOMATIC ILLUMINATION OF DIPPED BEAM LIGHTS (ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATION)
Setting dipped beam lights to automatic illumination mode :
NOTE : to deactivate the function, carry out the same procedure .
4 - 3 - RADIO (RB3 - RD3)
Configuration of the tuner zone of application (Depending on destination) .
Connect the DIAG 2000 to the central socket .
Select :
Input the build code number, then press the asterisk button to validate .

Select the area of use according to the country, then press the configuration button to validate .
Configuration of the tuner application zone terminated .
4 - 4 - ALARM
Initialisation of the alarm function (Switzerland - Belgium) :

4 - 5 - MULTIPLEXED SUNROOF
NOTE : following every battery disconnection, the sunroof function must be re-initialised .
Initialisation is carried out only in the maximum tilt position (3rd position) with pressing of the sunroof control button for more than one second .
4 - 6 - SHOW-ROOM MODE
This mode enables potential customers to gain access to the various electrical functions of a vehicle in showroom mode (without ignition key) in our new vehicle showrooms .
The showroom mode is programmed using the DIAG 2000 .

NOTE : this vehicle is not fitted with a lighter .
To deactivate showroom mode, simply carry out a road test (engine running and speed above 30 mph km/h) .
4 - 7 - DEACTIVATION OF THE AUTOMATIC HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS FUNCTION ( SWEDEN : ONLY)
Connect the DIAG 2000 to the central socket .
Select :
Input the build code number, then press the asterisk button to validate .
Select :
Press the return arrow .
Deactivation of the automatic hazard warning lights function completed .
5 - SPECIFIC EXTERIOR PREPARATION
5 - 1 - TRUCK LASHING (COUNTRIES WITH REGULATIONS ONLY)
For the following countries with specific regulations :
Lashing to the truck is carried out at the rear, using 2 screwed fitted rings (towbar fixing studs welded onto the 2 side rear members) .
IMPERATIVE : these rings are fitted in the factory on assembly for the destinations concerned and must be removed during new vehicle preparation to guarantee the correct behaviour of the structure in the event of rear impacts .
