REMOVAL - REFITTING VTC SOLENOID VALVE (VARIABLE TIMING CAMSHAFT)

1 - REMOVAL

EW12J4 ENGINE

Remove the styling cover from the engine .

ES9J4S ENGINE

remove the styling cover from the engine .

Remove the bolt (1) .

EW12J4 ENGINE

ALL MODELS

Disconnect the connector from the solenoid valve .

IMPERATIVE : clean the area (A) by suction .

Remove the solenoid valve (2) .

2 - REFITTING

Refit the solenoid valve (2) .

Refit the bolt (1) : Tightening torque : 3 da.Nm .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
