REMOVAL - REFITTING TURBOCHARGER

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the shields under the power train .


IMPERATIVE : remove the exhaust pipe to avoid damaging the flexible hose; this cannot withstand the torsion, traction or bending tensions caused by the removal of one of the power train supports .

Remove : The turbo pipe (1) .

Remove :

Unscrew the collar (5) .


Remove :

Disconnect the crankcase breather hose (10) .

remove the valve support .

Remove the air conduit (9) .

Plug the turbo inlet and outlet openings .


Remove :


(15) Turbocharger .

(16) Stabiliser bar(s) .

(17) Heat shield .

Remove the turbocharger (15) using the A routing .

2 - REFITTING

Check that no foreign bodies are present (In the induction system) .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the turbocharger securing nuts and the seals .


Tightening the studs 1 m.daN .

Fit :

Tighten the nuts (14) to 2,5 da.Nm .

Position the connector (12) .

Tighten the union (12) to 4,75 da.Nm .

Refit the support (11) .

Tighten the (18) bolts by hand .

Reconnect the pipe (13) .

Tighten :

refit the solenoid valves bracket .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the exhaust clip .
