REFITTING INPUT AND OUTPUT SHAFTS - GEARBOX CONTROL PLATE

1 - PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Input shaft bearing adjustment .

2 - REFITTING

Check that the input shaft bearing race (1) is present .

Fit a new lubrication bush (2) .

Mesh the input shaft (3) with the output shaft (4) .

Fit the input and output shaft assembly .

WARNING : take care not to damage the guide tube oil seal when inserting the input shaft .

Check that 2 nd speed is engaged on the output shaft .

NOTE : when fitting the plate, position the selection anchor (5) in the groove (6) in the gear engagement shaft .

Fit the gearbox control plate (7) in the direction of the arrow (2 nd speed engaged) .

WARNING : after fitting the gearbox control plate, check that the 1 st - 2 nd and 3 rd - 4 th forks are correctly positioned in the grooves in the synchroniser sleeves .

Insert the tension pins (8) .

Fit the bolts (9) - Tightening torque 1,5 da.Nm .

Fit the spring (10) and the piston (11) .

Fit :

• the reverse gear sliding gear (12)
• the rocking lever shaft (13)

WARNING : check that the reverse rocking lever is correctly positioned on the selection fingers .

Fit the reverse shaft (14) and gear (15) .

Be sure to engage the sliding gear in the rocking lever, Rotate the shaft to place the shaft pin in the notch in the clutch housing (16) .
