DISMANTLING GEARBOX CONTROL PLATE

1 - PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Remove :

• the 5 th speed gear
• THE GEARBOX CASING
• GEARBOX CONTROL AND INPUT AND OUTPUT SHAFTS PLATE

2 - PRESENTATION

Gearbox control plate .

3 - DISMANTLING

Screw the plate to the clutch housing using 2 bolts (1) .

Return the plate to neutral .

Remove the interlock plate (2) .

Secure the plate using the bolts (3) .

When the plate is in neutral, the roller (4) will be in the notch (5) .

Hold the 5 th - reverse shaft (6) .

Select in the direction of arrow (A) .

Engage the gear in direction (B) .

Remove the 5 th - reverse shaft (6) .

Return the plate to neutral .

Hold the 3 rd - 4 th shaft (7) .

Engage the gear in direction (C) .

Gently select in the direction of arrow (D) and simultaneously .

Pivot the 3 rd - 4 th shaft (7) in the direction of arrow (E) .

Withdraw the 3 th - 4 th shaft (7) .

Select in the direction of arrow (E) .

Engage the gear in direction (F) .

Rotate the shaft (8) in the direction of arrow (G) .

Withdraw the 1 th - 2 th shaft (8) .

WARNING : place the lever in the neutral position to be able to remove the two pins (9) .

Remove :

• the small pin with a 4,8 mm diameter punch
• the large pin with a 7 mm diameter punch

Hold the interlock key (10) and engagement dog (11) assembly .

Withdraw the engagement shaft (12) .

Remove the interlock key (10) and engagement dog (11) assembly .

(1) Engagement finger .

(2) Spring .

(3) Roller .

(4) Locking dog .

Separate the engagement finger and the locking dog in a container to ease retrieval of the roller and spring .
