REMOVAL - REFITTING MASTER CYLINDER

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the right style cover .

Remove the filter from the brake fluid reservoir (1) .

Drain the brake fluid reservoir (1), using a clean syringe .

Disconnect :

• the connector (2)
• the pipes attached to the reservoir (1)

Plug the openings .

Move aside the tabs (3) then pull vertically on the tank .

Retrieve the pin 4 .

Uncouple the brake pipes (5) .

Blank the holes in the master cylinder and the brake pipes .

Remove :

• the nuts (6)
• the master-cylinder

2 - REFITTING

Always renew :

• the seal (7)

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Tightening torques :

• the nut (6) to 2 da.Nm
• brake pipe unions : 1,5 da.Nm

FILL AND BLEED THE BRAKE CIRCUIT .
