REMOVAL - REFITTING DOOR FLUSH FITTING SEAL

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] : Chisel sharpened to an angle of 30 ° .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• the assembled door
• front door trim panel or rear door trim panel

Carefully detach the sealing film at the front .

Using the tool [1], cut the rivet heads (1) .

Remove :

• the lower securing pins (2), (3)
• the upper securing pin (4)
• the flush fitting seal (5)

3 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : if the pins are damaged, replace them .

Position the pins (2), (3), (4) on the flush fitting seal (5) .

Clip the seal (5) onto the door .

WARNING : the flush fitting seal rivets are special rivets .

IMPERATIVE : retrieve the rivets which have fallen in the base of the door .

IMPERATIVE : if the sealing sheet is torn, replace it .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
