ADJUSTMENT ASSEMBLED DOORS (OPERATION - ADJUSTMENT - FINISHING)

NOTE : this adjusting operation requires 2 operators .

IMPERATIVE : on the same door never unscrew both hinges at the same time; adjustments must always be carried out on the same hinge .

1 - PRINCIPLE

For adjustments, start with the rear door and disregard the top area (door frame) .

WARNING : do not damage the seals .

In the current situation, only the external door panel serves as reference point .

2 - ADJUSTMENT TO THE REAR DOOR

2 - 1 - UPPER PART - A

Unscrew the fasteners (1) of the fixed hinge, then carry out an adjustment at X (vehicle length) .

Unscrew the fastener (2) of the moveable hinge leaf, then adjust at Y and Z (vehicle width and height) .

Check the fits and clearances ; Re-tighten the fasteners .

2 - 2 - LOWER PART - B

Carry out the same operation as A if necessary .

2 - 3 - REAR STRUCTURE - C

Unscrew the fasteners (3) and make the adjustments at Y (vehicle width) .

Check the fits and clearances ; Re-tighten the fasteners .

3 - ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FRONT DOOR

Turn the front wheel to partially disengage the rear part of the mud guard .

3 - 1 - UPPER PART - D

Unscrew the fasteners (4) on the fixed hinge leaf, accessing them from the interior of the wing cut-out, then make the adjustments at X (vehicle length) .

Open the door, adjust the fastener (5) of the moveable hinge leaf, then carry out adjustments at Y and Z (vehicle width and height) .

Check the fits and clearances ; Re-tighten the fasteners .

3 - 2 - LOWER PART - E

Carry out the same operation as D if necessary .

3 - 3 - REAR STRUCTURE-F

Unscrew the fasteners (6) and make the adjustments at Y (vehicle width) .

Check the fits and clearances ; Re-tighten the fasteners .

IMPERATIVE : after the final check, lock the fasteners by applying the corresponding torques .

Fasteners :

• (1), (4) : 2,9 da.Nm
• (2), (5) : 2,9 da.Nm
• (3), (6) : 0,8 ± 0,2 da.Nm
