REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR DOOR OPENING MECHANISM

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] : Chisel sharpened to an angle of 30 ° .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• THE DOOR TRIM PANEL
• THE LOWER OPENING CONTROL

Carefully detach the sealing film at the top .

Using the tool [1], cut the rivet heads (1) .

Remove the anti-theft device (2) .

Remove the fasteners (3) .

Unclip the rod (4) connecting to the exterior opening control .

Disconnect the connector (5) .

Detach the opening mechanism (6) through the opening in the inner panel .

Remove the opening mechanism .

3 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : retrieve the rivets which have fallen in the base of the door .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : IF THE SEALING SHEET IS TORN, REPLACE IT .

Check the operation of the opening mechanism .
