REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT DOOR GLASS

1 - REMOVAL

Raise the glass the maximum amount .

Remove :

• THE DOOR TRIM PANEL
• THE INTERIOR WIPE SEAL

Carefully detach the sealing film at the top .

Unscrew the window retaining mountings (2) gaining access through the passage holes .

Lower the window fully .

Remove the window by tilting it forward .

2 - REFITTING

Carefully detach the sealing film at the bottom .

Unscrew : The lower fittings of the window rails .

Position the glass .

WARNING : before tightening the window mountings (2), it is essential to raise the window as far as possible to place it in contact with the bottom of the groove seal at (3) .

Lower the glass fully .

Tighten : The lower fittings of the window rails .

Visually check the groove seal which should not show any appearance defects .

IMPERATIVE : retrieve the rivets which have fallen in the base of the door .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Tighten the bolts (2) to 0,8 ± 0,2 daN.m .

IMPERATIVE : IF THE SEALING SHEET IS TORN, REPLACE IT .
