REMOVAL - REFITTING CURTAIN AIRBAG MODULE

1 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : apply the procedure for switching off the central airbag system .

{{n2326}} deposer la garniture de pavillon toit fixe, Or {{n2327}} la garniture de pavillon avec toit ouvrant (According to specification) .

Remove the amplifier aerial mounting (1) .

Allow the amplifier aerial (2) to hang down .

Disconnect the amplifier (3) connector .

Disconnect the connector (4) from the distributor .

Remove, The fasteners (5), (6), (7) .

Remove, The fasteners (8), (9) .

Unclip the airbag tape retaining plate (10) .

Pull towards you the whole of the curtain airbag (11) in order to unclip it in the centre .

Remove the whole of the curtain airbag assembly (11) .

2 - REFITTING

WARNING : before refitting the mountings, centre the module on the body by its guides (12) and exert pressure to keep it in a secured position .

IMPERATIVE : apply the procedure for starting the central airbags system .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

3 - TIGHTENING TORQUE(S)

* Fasteners (5) : 1,15 ± 0,15 da.Nm .

* Fasteners (6), (7), (8), (9) : 0,4 ± 0,1 da.Nm .
