Mitsubishi Takes a Comprehensive View
of Ecology
We at Mitsubishi Motors strive to maintain a global
perspective when considering the relationship between cars
and environmental conservation. One goal of energy
efficiency is to make maximum use of fossil fuels. This
reduces the burden of running costs for the user, while it
also helps protect the environment by reducing the amount of
fuel consumed.
The light weight and aerodynamic efficiency of the body, the
superior combustion efficiency and minimal power loss of the
engine, and the low friction of the drive train all speak of
the diligent work done at Mitsubishi to realize a new level
of economy in HSR-VI.
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation takes positive steps daily to
reduce the amount of waste so that we might protect the
environment from air pollution, the destruction of the ozone
layer, and global warming. We do not content ourselves with
merely improving the level of cleanliness of the car itself,
but also make every effort to eliminate pollutants from the
production process and the factories as well. In addition,
we are striving to build cars that are easier to disassemble
for recycling when the life cycle is finished, and we have
begun a program to label components by material to
facilitate easy separation for recycling. Our approach aims
to eliminate waste and take full advantage of resources.
