MODIFICATION OIL SUMP FIXING

1 - EARLIER ASSEMBLY

The sheet metal oil sump fitted to all TU engines has 19 fixing points .

2 - LATER ASSEMBLY

The oil sump is now secured by 13 fixings .

The 6 bolts (1) have been discontinued .

Consequently : The main bearing cap castings no longer have the 6 corresponding threads .

2 - 1 - INTERCHANGEABILITY

The new sheet metal sumps replace the old ones .

WHEN A NEW SUMP IS FITTED TO AN OLD ENGINE (19 HOLES), PLACE SEALING PRODUCT (E10) IN THE UNUSED OPEN THREADED HOLES .
