REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT PIVOT BALL JOINT

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Socket (FACOM NK41 L) .

2 - REMOVAL

remove the pivot .

On the bench :

• remove the protection plate
• fit the tool [1]
• remove the ball joint

3 - REFITTING

Screw the new pivot ball joint manually .

Fit the tool [1] .

Tighten the ball joint to 23 da.Nm .

Lock the nut of the pivot ball joint At (A) .

Engage the new plate (1) on the body of the ball joint .

Immobilise the plate by bending it at (B) into one of the notches in the ball joint .

fit the pivot .
