REMOVAL - REFITTING SUN ROOF ASSEMBLY

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] 2.5 mm shims for positioning the sunroof (-).1355 - D .

[2] 2 mm shims for positioning the sunroof (-).1355 - D .

2 - REMOVAL

NOTE : sunroof closed .

REMOVE THE HEADLINING .

Disconnect the connector (1) .

Uncouple the water drain pipes (2) .

NOTE : two operators are necessary .

Remove :

• the nuts (3)
• the sunroof (4) from the rear of the vehicle

3 - REFITTING

WARNING : check that the water drain pipes are neither kinked or obstructed when they are fitted .

IMPERATIVE : do not use grease to make fitting the water drain pipes easier (risk of the drain adaptors cracking on contact with the grease) .

NOTE : two operators are necessary .

Fit the sunroof .

Offer up the nuts (3) manually .

Place the shims [1] sideways at the rear of the roof .

Place the shims [2] at the front of the sunroof .

Pre-tighten the nuts (3) ; (A) to (F) .

Tighten the nuts (3) to 0.75 da.Nm ; (A) to (F) .

WARNING : take care that no outside stress interferes with the positioning and fixing of the sunroof (proximity of the panels, electrical harness, side air bag) .

Re-connect the connector (1) .

CHECK THE FITS AND CLEARANCES .

INITIALISE AND PROGRAMME THE SUNROOF .

Perform several tests of operation .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

REFIT THE HEADLINING .

IMPERATIVE : use the products indicated, using a slight rubbing action in the direction of the fabric weft .

Clean the headlining with soap and water or white spirit .
