REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR BRAKE CALIPER (CALIPER TEVES)

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the filter from the brake fluid reservoir .

Partially drain the brake fluid reservoir using a clean syringe .

Fit : The filter .

Uncouple the brake hose (1) at (A) .

Plug the openings .

Recover the U clip (2) .

Remove :

• the bolt (4) (after removing the blanking plug (3))
• the bolt (5)
• the brake caliper (6)
• the brake hose (1)

2 - REFITTING

Visually check :

• the sealing of the piston
• THE DISC FOR WEAR

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Abide by the following conditions :

• fit 2 new bolts (4) (5) (coated with threadlock))

Tightening torque :

• bolt(s) (4) to 2,5 m.daN
• bolt(s) (5) to 5 m.daN

FILL AND BLEED THE BRAKE CIRCUIT .
