REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR BRAKE PADS (TEVES FRI 33 CALIPER)

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the filter from the brake fluid reservoir .

Partially drain the brake fluid reservoir using a clean syringe .

Fit : The filter .

Remove :

• the pins (1)
• the pins (2)
• the spring (3)

Push the piston fully home in its housing using a FACOM D60 A type clamp .

Remove the brake pads (4) .

2 - REFITTING

Visually check :

• the sealing of the piston
• THE DISC FOR WEAR

Check that the piston slides correctly .

Check the free movement of the caliper sliding sleeves .

Replace any defective parts .

Clean carefully :

• the caliper
• the brake disc using a suitable solvent (type HENKEL)

Fit the brake pads .

Fit :

• the spring (3)
• the pins (2)
• the pins (1)

Check the brake fluid level and top up if necessary .

IMPERATIVE : gradually apply the brake gently several times, engine running, before driving the vehicle .

Tighten the wheel bolts to 9 da.Nm .
