OPERATION REAR ANTI-ROLL BAR

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Positioning calipers (-).0532-B .

2 - REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR ANTI-ROLL BAR MOUNTINGS

2 - 1 - REMOVAL

Remove :

Unclip the brake pipes at (A) and (B) .

Uncouple the height sensor rod (1) at (C) (according to specification) .

Take the weight of the rear suspension using a jack .

Unscrew the mounting bolts of the rear axle without removing them .

WARNING : take care not to damage the brake pipes and the wheel sensor .

Uncouple the rod (2) of the anti-roll bar (3) .

Remove :

2 - 2 - REFITTING

WARNING : line up the flat parts (7) of the bearing (6) with those of the anti-roll bar (8) .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

2 - 3 - TIGHTENING TORQUES

Bolt(s) (4) to 2.5 m.daN .

Rod mounting bolts to 5.7 dam.n .

Rear suspension mounting bolts to 6.5 dan.m .

3 - REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR ANTI-ROLL BAR

3 - 1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[2] Rear suspension units compression tool .

[3] 2 rear spring compression cups(-).0915-D7 .

[4] 2 support rings(-).0915-D8 .

3 - 2 - REMOVAL

POSITION THE TOOLS [1], [2], [3] .

Remove The rear bar bearings (6) .

Remove the 2 front mounting bolts of the rear suspension .

Take the weight of the rear suspension using a jack .

WARNING : take care not to damage the brake pipes and the wheel sensor .

Remove the anti-roll bar via the left side .

3 - 3 - REFITTING

Fit the tool [1] .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

3 - 4 - TIGHTENING TORQUES

Anti-roll bar rod lock nut : 5.7 da.Nm .

Rear suspension mounting bolts to 6.5 dan.m .

Anti-roll bar main bearing cap mounting bolts to 2.5 dan.m .
