REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR DAMPER

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Rear suspension units compression tool (-).0915-D .

[2] 2 rear spring compression cups (-).0915-D7 .

[3] 2 support rings (-).0915-D8 .

2 - REMOVAL

POSITION THE TOOLS [1], [2], [3] .

Slacken the nut (1) .

Remove the bolt (2) from the damper eyelet .

NOTE : leave the bolt in the arm and the pivot .

VARIABLE DAMPING SUSPENSION

Disconnect the wire(s) (4) .

Unclamp the wire (4) .

ALL MODELS

Remove the bolts (3) .

Remove the damper .

3 - REFITTING

WARNING : clean the bolt threads, lubricate the bolts with MOLYKOTE G RAPIDE PLUS + frein filet grease .

Position the shock absorber .

Fit and tighten the bolts (3) : 4.7 da.Nm .

Refit the nut (1) (without tightening) .

VARIABLE DAMPING SUSPENSION

Reconnect and clamp the wire (4) .

ALL MODELS

Tighten at (A) to obtain a dimension (b) between the two fittings of the shock absorber :

Tighten the nut (1) : 8.5 da.Nm .

Tightening torque of bolt (5) : 4 da.Nm .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
