OVERHAUL REAR HUBS

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Thrust button(-).0617-F .

[2] (-).0617-E sleeve .

[3] Ring (-).0617-D .

2 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE REAR BRAKE DISC .

Remove the protector (1) (Using a thin screwdriver) .

Remove the nut (2) .

Remove the hub / bearing (3) by using tool [1] and a tool of the FACOM U 52 type .

Remove the sealing plate remaining on the bearing race .

Remove the inner bearing race (4) (Using a FACOM U52 type tool) .

Clean the contact surfaces .

3 - REFITTING

Use a slip product of the MOLYKOTE 321 R type .

Screw the guide sleeve [2] fitted with the hub bearing to the stub axle .

Fit a new hub bearing (5) to the guide sleeve [2] .

Tighten the bush [3] until the hub bearing (5) is fully home .

Fit a new, greased, hub nut .

Tighten the nut (2) to 30 da.Nm .

Lock the nut (2) on the steering knuckle at (A) .

Fit a new protector using a mallet (1) .

REFIT THE BRAKE DISC .

Tighten the wheel to 9 m.daN .
