REMOVAL - REFITTING CONVERTER

WARNING : the variable power steering is very susceptible to impurities .

WARNING : the reliability of the mechanism depends on the quality of your work .

1 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• THE STEERING MECHANISM

WARNING : to avoid polluting the power steering system, close both the distributor valve openings and both the steering pipes using plastic plugs .

Tighten in a twin-jaw vice :

• the steering mechanism

Remove :

• the 2 bolts (1)
• the converter (2)

Remove the filter (4) .

2 - REFITTING

Fit :

• two new O-rings (3)
• a new oil filter (4)

Refit the converter (2) .

Fit :

• the 2 bolts (1)

Tighten the bolts (1) to 0.3 daN.m .

REFIT THE STEERING MECHANISM .
