REPLACEMENT REAR BUMPER CAPPING

1 - REMOVAL

WARNING : to remove the centre capping the side cappings must first be removed .

REMOVE THE REAR BUMPER .

Remove :

• the clips (1)
• the cross beam (2)

Disconnect the number plate lights (3) .

Move aside the tabs (A) - (B) to release the proximity detectors (4) (According to specification) .

Remove the harness (5) with the sensors (4) .

Unclip the damper (6) at points (C), (D), (E) .

Remove the damper (6) .

Cut and release the tie wraps (7) .

Pull the capping (A) towards you and release the clips with a spatula taking care not to damage the paint .

Remove the bumper capping .

Remove :

• the number plate lamps
• the centre capping

2 - REFITTING

Refit the cappings .

WARNING : refit the centre capping before the side cappings .

Fit new tie wraps .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
