REMOVE-REFIT WINDOW MECHANISM

1 - TOOLING


[1] chisel ground to an angle of 30 odeg. .

2 - REMOVAL

2 - 1 - FRONT DOOR

Disconnect the battery .

Remove :


Remove the part (1) .

Disconnect the connector from the door opening mechanism .

Using the tool [1], cut the rivet heads (2) .

Remove the burglar-proof cover (3) .


Remove :

Disconnect the electric window motor connector (6) .


Remove the window mechanism (7) by opening the door inner panel .

2 - 2 - REAR DOOR

Disconnect the battery .

REMOVE THE INNER PANEL .


Carefully detach the sealing film at the rear .

Lower the window in order to see the fastener (8) .

Unclip the connector (9) .

Manually raise the window and keep it high using adhesive tape .

Remove the fasteners (10) .

Slacken the fasteners (11) .

Remove the window mechanism via the opening (A) .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Connect the battery .

IMPERATIVE : retrieve the rivets which have fallen in the base of the door .

IMPERATIVE : IF THE SEALING SHEET IS TORN, REPLACE IT .

4 - ADJUSTMENT

4 - 1 - FRONT DOOR

Unscrew the lower fasteners (4) and (5) .

Place the glass on the window without tightening the retaining fittings .

Fit the glass in the maximum position, ensuring that it is in the base of the slide seal .

Tighten the glass retaining fittings .

Lower the window completely .

Tighten the lower fittings (4) - (5) .

4 - 2 - REAR DOOR

Unscrew :

Fit the glass in the maximum position, ensuring that it is in the base of the slide seal .

Tighten : The fastener (8) .

Lower the window completely .

Tighten : The lower fixing (10) .
