REMOVAL - REFITTING FIXED ROOF HEADLINING

1 - REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery .

Protect the front and rear seat cushions .

Remove the interior mirror .

Remove :

• THE ROOF CONSOLE (1)
• the sun visors (2)
• the sun visor retaining hooks (3)

WARNING : on a sun visor with illuminated mirror, add a grommet for use on refitting .

REMOVE THE HANDLES (4) .

Partially unclip the door aperture seals (5) .

REMOVE THE SCREEN PILLAR TRIM (6) .

Detach the b post upper trim and let it hang down .

Partially unclip the door aperture seals (8) .

Remove :

• THE GRAB HANDLES (9)
• the roof lamp (10)
• THE QUARTER PANEL TRIM PADS (11)

Move the front seats fully forwards .

Tilt the front passenger seat back forwards .

Tilt the driver's seat back rearward .

Using a hot air gun and a spatula, gradually detach the headlining, starting at the windscreen side .

Remove the headlining via the right rear door .

2 - REFITTING

Apply a layer of neoprene adhesive to the new trim .

Observe the bonding dimensions (A) .

Position the headlining correctly .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .

Clean the headlining with soap and water or white spirit .
