REMOVAL - REFITTING WINDSCREEN PILLAR TRIM

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE HEADLINING WITH FLAPS .

Remove the fasteners (1) .

Open the front door .

Remove the fasteners (2) .

Open the upper rear indexing clip .

Tilt the windscreen pillar trim (3) forwards to detach the windscreen pillar exterior seal (4) .

Place a screwdriver blade in the mounting pin (5) and pivot it :

• towards the front of the vehicle (left-hand side)
• towards the rear of the vehicle (right-hand side)

Unclip the windscreen pillar trim (3) by pulling it .

Remove the windscreen pillar trim (3) .

Tighten the (2) mounting pin (5) clipping tabs to detach the pin .

Remove the mounting pin (5) .

2 - REFITTING

WARNING : ensure that the sliding inserts are present on the stamped sections (H) .

Reposition the exterior seal (4) on the flange between the windscreen and the windscreen pillar .

Lock the mounting pin (5) on the windscreen pillar trim (3) .

IMPERATIVE : replacement of the windscreen pillar trim : fit the windscreen pillar trim with foam blocks as indicated above .

Clip the windscreen pillar trim (3) :

• on the front wing hole, using the mounting pin (5)
• at the upper rear section using the indexing clip

Position the trim mountings without tightening them .

Seat the windscreen pillar trim (3) and tighten the mountings in the following order A, B, C, D, E, F, G .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
