REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT SEAT

1 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING OFF THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

Move the front seat fully forward .

Remove :

• the fasteners (1)
• the covers (2)

Remove the fasteners (3) .

Move the seat as far back as possible .

Remove the front fixings (4) .

Disconnect the battery .

Release the seat rearwards .

Tilt the seat rearwards .

Unclip the connectors under the seat (According to specification) .

Remove the seat from the vehicle .

Remove the trim (5) .

Remove the fastener (6) .

Detach the seat belt (7) .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Bolts (3) tightening torque 3 ± 0.45 da.Nm .

Bolts (4) tightening torque 1.9 ± 0.45 da.Nm .

Bolts (6) tightening torque 2,3 ± 0.6 da.Nm .

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING ON THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

Check the operation of the seat belt and of the electrical equipment .
