REMOVAL - REFITTING COMPRESSOR DRIVE PLATE

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] FACOM 117A adjustable peg spanner .

[2] drive plate extractor (-).1516 .

2 - REMOVAL

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN .

Position the peg spanner [1] .

Slacken the central nut with the spanner and socket .

Remove the central nut .

Fit the extractor [2] .

Check that it is parallel to the drive plate face .

Extract the drive plate .

3 - REFITTING

Position the drive plate .

Fit the old nut and tighten it to 3.5 to 4 da.Nm .

Check and adjust the air gap .

Fit a new nut in place of the old one .

Tighten it to 3.5 to 4 da.Nm .
