REMOVAL - REFITTING HEATER

IMPERATIVE : BEFORE ANY WORK ON THE AIR CONDITIONING CIRCUIT, OBSERVE THE RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS .

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS


[1] Hose clamp : Workshop reference (-).1512 .

2 - REMOVAL

Drain the refrigerant circuit .

Remove the fascia .

Remove the ventilator conduits .

Unclip the scuttle panel .

Remove the pollen filter .


Remove the 2 fittings (1) from the filter bracket (2) .

Depressurise the cooling system .

Clamp the heater matrix inlet and outlet pipes (3), Using the tool [1] .

Disconnect the hoses (3) .

Remove the fastener (4) .


Remove the nuts (5) .

Detach the clamp from the pressure relief valve and block the input points of the pressure relief valve and the pipes .

Remove the 2 fittings (6) from the heater assembly on the bulkhead .


Remove the fittings (7) from the condensation drain plate (8) .


Disconnect the connector (9) from the blower module, Release the harness .

WARNING : place a receptacle under the heater matrix inlet and outlet pipes .

Remove the heater assembly .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Fit new lubricated seals on all the pipes of the air conditioning circuit which have been removed. .

RECHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT .

Check operation of the circuit .
