REMOVAL - REFITTING CONDENSER

IMPERATIVE : BEFORE ANY WORK ON THE AIR CONDITIONING CIRCUIT, OBSERVE THE RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS .

1 - REMOVAL

Drain the refrigerant circuit .

Remove :

• the engine anti-squeal shield (depending on engine type)
• the right and left radiator grilles
• the soundproofing under the engine
• the centre spoiler under the bumper
• the air exchanger air connector (DW engine)

Remove :

• the top grille bolt (1)
• on the front surface of the spoiler (2)
• the top two bolts (3) of the radiator brackets
• the radiator brackets

Move the radiator towards the rear of the vehicle or remove the radiator depending on the engine .

Remove :

• the top fitting (4) of the condenser pipe
• disconnect the connector (5) of the pressostat (6)

Remove the fitting (7) from the lower condenser pipe (8) .

IMPERATIVE : plug the pipes and the condenser to make them watertight .

Remove :

• the clips (9) of the condenser (10)
• the condenser (10)

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

(A) : Clamp support surface .

(B) : Condenser surface .

WARNING : when refitting the refrigerant pipes, the clamp must be supported at its interface before tightening the nut .

RECHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT .

Check operation of the circuit .
