REMOVAL - REFITTING ACCELERATION SENSOR

WARNING : apply the procedure for switching off the central airbag system .

1 - REMOVAL

remove the seat fasteners .

Disconnect the connectors from the seat (According to specification) .

Tilt the seat on the cushion with the rear protected .

Unclip :

• the front side sill trim

5 DOOR SALOON

Unclip :

• the rear side sill trim
• the centre pillar lower trim

3 DOOR SALOON

Unclip :

• the tail panel

ALL MODELS

Uncover the carpet to gain access to the acceleration sensor (1) .

Remove the fastener (2) .

Detach the acceleration sensor (1) .

Disconnect the connector (3) .

Remove the acceleration sensor (1) .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

front side sill trim .

5 DOOR SALOON

Fit :

• the rear side sill trim
• the centre pillar lower trim

3 DOOR SALOON

Fit :

• the tail panel

ALL MODELS

seat .

Tighten the fastener (2) to 0.85 daN.m. .

WARNING : apply the procedure for switching on the central airbag system .
