REMOVAL - REFITTING UPPER REAR WISHBONE
1 - SPECIAL TOOLS
[1] Rear suspension units compression tool .
[2] 2 rear spring compression cups (-).0915-D7 .
[3] 2 support rings (-).0915-D8 .
[4] Positioning calipers (-).0532-B .
2 - REMOVAL
POSITION THE TOOLS [1], [2], [3] .
Uncouple the anti-roll bar link from the suspension arm (1) .
Lower the front of the rear suspension by removing the bolts (2) on each side of the vehicle .
Unclamp the wire of the abs sensor, next to the top wishbone .
Raise the wishbone at (A) to facilitate the removal of the wishbone securing bolts .
Remove the securing bolts (3) .
Remove : The securing bolt (4) .
Remove the bolt (5) .
Remove the yoke (6) .
Slide the bearing on the anti-roll bar, in order to access the bolt (7) .
Remove the securing bolt (7) by passing it under the anti-roll bar (8) .
Remove the upper wishbone by raising the lower wishbone at (A) .
3 - REFITTING
Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
WARNING : clean the bolt threads, lubricate the bolts with MOLYKOTE G RAPID PLUS grease (except bolt (5)) .
Refit the wishbone fixing bolts (without tightening) .
WARNING : position the opening (c) of the rubber bearing (9) towards the rear of the vehicle .
Refit the anti-roll bar bearing (9) .
Fit the bearing yoke (6) to the rear axle .
NOTE : coat the bolt (5) with threadlock LOCTITE .
Tighten the bolt (5) to 2.5 da.Nm .
Position the calipers [4] at the front of the rear crossmember to align the rear crossmember .
Tighten the bolt (2) to 6.5 da.Nm .
Remove the calipers (4) .
Tighten at (A) to obtain a dimension (b) between the two fittings of the shock absorber :
Tighten :
Adjust and check (Rear suspension) .
