REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR PIVOT

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Rear suspension units compression tool (-).0915-D .

[2] 2 rear spring compression cups (-).0915-D7 .

[3] 2 support rings (-).0915-D8 .

2 - REMOVAL

POSITION THE TOOLS [1], [2], [3] .

Uncouple the brake caliper (1) and suspend it .

Remove the rear brake disc .

UNCOUPLE THE HANDBRAKE CABLE (2) .

Identify the position of the cam ring (3) in order to avoid adjusting the variation in track control .

Remove the cam ring (3) .

Remove the ABS brake sensor .

NOTE : raise the bottom wishbone at (A) to ease removal of the wishbone fixing bolts .

Remove the securing bolts (4) (5) .

Remove the pivot, backplate (6) .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

WARNING : clean the bolt threads, lubricate the bolts with MOLYKOTE G RAPID PLUS grease + loctite .

Refit the securing bolts for the wishbone, without tightening them .

Tighten at (A) to obtain a dimension (b) between the two fittings of the shock absorber :

Tighten :

Refit the cam ring (3) in the position identified on removal .

Tighten the cam ring to 5.5 dan.m .

Check the variation in track control .
