REMOVAL - REFITTING ELECTRIC SUNROOF

IMPERATIVE : the sunroof must be closed .

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE HEADLINING .

Disconnect the electrical connection (1) .

Disconnect the water evacuation pipes (2) .

NOTE : for the following operation 2 people are necessary .

Remove the fixings (3) symmetrically .

Remove the sunroof through the left rear door .

2 - REFITTING

Check that the 4 spacers (4) are present .

2 - 1 - POSITIONING AND ADJUSTMENT

NOTE : for the following operation 2 people are necessary .

Fit the sunroof .

Tighten all the fixings by hand .

Position the rear shims [1] : 1 mm shim(s) .

Position the front shims [2] : 4 mm shim(s) .

Position the side shims [3] : 1.5 mm shim(s) .

Following this positioning, the rear line clearance between the glass panel overmoulding and the dropped flange of the roof must be 0.5 mm greater than the same clearance at the front line .

Pre-tighten the fixings (3) symmetrically in the following order A - B - C - D - E - F .

Tighten all the fixings to 0.75 dan.m ± 0.2 .

Remake the electrical connection (1) .

Initialise the sunroof function :

• start the vehicle
• slide the sunroof open and disconnect the electrical connection again while the glass panel is moving
• remake the electrical connection
• press the sunroof control switch to tilt it open (it is only possible to tilt the moving panel at this point in the process)
• hold down until the glass panel has come to a complete stop ( the glass panel will have tilted open fully then moved back slightly in the direction of closing)

CHECK THE CLEARANCES AND FLUSH FITTING OF THE MOVING PANEL .

Check the operation .

REFIT THE HEADLINING .

Continue refitting in the reverse order to removal .
