REMOVAL/REFITTING OF THE FRONT PRE-TENSIONING SEAT BELT

1 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING OFF THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

Removal :

• CENTRE PILLAR LOWER TRIM
• B POST UPPER TRIM

IMPERATIVE : disconnect the connector (4) (see figure(s) 2) .

Remove :

• the fixings (1)
• the seat belt guide (2)
• the fastener (3)

Remove :

• the fastener (5)
• the seat belt reel (6)

2 - REFITTING

WARNING : when refitting the b/c post upper trim, ensure that seat belt adjustment system is fitted correctly .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Bolts (3) tightening torque 3 da.Nm .

Bolts (5) tightening torque 3 da.Nm .

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING ON THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

Check the operation of the seat belts .
