REPLACEMENT CONTROL UNIT (AIRBAG)

1 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING OFF THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

REMOVE THE FLOOR CONSOLE .

Disconnect the connector (1) .

Remove :

• the nuts (2)
• the control unit (3)

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

WARNING : point the arrow on the ECU towards the front of the vehicle .

IMPERATIVE : APPLY THE PROCEDURE FOR SWITCHING ON THE CENTRAL AIRBAG SYSTEM .

Check the operation of the air bag warning lamp .

3 - TIGHTENING

Tighten the bolts (2) to 0.8 daN.m .
